Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work consists of evaluation and renovation of the sprinkler, alarm, and ancillary fire system components, as necessary, to comply with current NFPA 13, Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems or NFPA 13R, Residential Sprinkler Systems, as applicable, and NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm & Signaling Code, currently adopted by the Jurisdiction of Authority. Modifications may require but are not limited to: New chases and/ or soffits to conceal piping and or wiring; Relocation of existing heads, and /or addition of new heads; Cutting and patching of existing walls, floors, and ceilings to accommodate sprinkler and/or fire alarm devices; Addition of detection and/or signaling devices; Installation of draft stops; and control panel modification.
