Specifications include, but are not limited to: service truck which contains a 1,000 gallon fuel tank secured to the bed. This service truck refuels the off road heavy equipment (i.e.: dozers, road graders, backhoes, track loaders, etc.) used by the Highway Department during their routine activities throughout Maury County. This service truck diesel tank is refilled on a daily basis and under certain conditions may be refilled twice in one day. On average, the Maury County Highway Department will required between 600 gallons/700 gallons each day the service truck is being used. Please note that under sever inclement weather conditions, the heavy equipment may not be operating and the service truck may not need refilling until the equipment can be working again.
