Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Disassemble transmission to inspect all parts for serviceability. b. Reassemble transmission with new bearings, seals, friction discs, clutch discs, and plates (as required), solenoid valves, and sensors. c. Clutch discs qualified to be reused must be inspected by a trained and certified CAT Reuse Parts Technician within the parameters of reusability (per referenced media above). d. CAT technician inspected reused clutch discs will carry the CAT parts warranty of one-year. e. Set transfer gear endplays to specification. f. Transmission will be tested in a test cell on a test bench and must meet CAT specifications. g. Once testing is approved, prepare transmission for paint. Paint color will be Caterpillar Brand approved. h. Install transmission in Caterpillar 930H Front-End Loader (Serial No. DHC01341) using standard parts such as: mounting seals, rear pinion, lip seal, filter seals, and oil (refill transmission). i. Test after installation. j. Ride Control System is not working properly. k. Troubleshoot Ride Control System. l. Repairs to correct the Ride Control System must be according to CAT Guidelines regarding re-bearing and reseal transmission. m. Bucket positioning controls are not working, specifically, the return to dig is not working; bucket kick-out. n. Troubleshoot bucket positioning control system. o. Repairs to correct the Bucket Positioning Controls must be in accordance with CAT Guidelines.
