Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide telephone-based triage and support services staffed by mental health professionals Requirements • Contractor must answer and triage immediately. Students will not be placed on hold, nor will they leave voice mails to have someone call them back. • Contractor must provide clinical assessments and intervention will be offered by Master’s level clinical staff. • Contractor must have licensed clinical staff supervisors who will provide real time clinical consultation to staff. • Contractor must have staff that can communicate fluently in Spanish, Mandarin, French, Farsi, Russian, Japanese, Cantonese, Cambodian, Vietnamese, and Arabic. • Contractor must document all calls in a secure database and be available within 2 hours of the next business day opening. Database must include, but is not limited to, the following: o Time and date of call o Caller identification information as provided to include: name, student (faculty/staff/parent etc.) identifier (Date of Birth), location, and call-back contact information o Length of call o Narrative regarding nature of call o Primary problem o Assessed initial level of distress o Presenting problem/overview o Assessed presentation of person of concern o Suicide risk assessment o Narrative for suicide risk assessment o Intentional self-injury assessment o Threat of violence risk assessment o Substance use assessment o Domestic violence assessment o Abuse-related assessment o Psychiatric medication assessment o Cognitive concerns observed o Narrative for cognitive concerns observed o Buffers and resiliency factors o Narrative for buffers and resiliency factors o Interventions provided by service o Directions for follow-up o Resources provided to caller o Describe clinical justification and rationale o Assessed concluding level of distress o Level of care o Identity or role of persons involved in the call other than the student (USC Upstate Police Department, Emergency Medical Service, housing personnel, staff member, etc.)
