Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Logistics and Planning: attend pre-training planning meetings, complete lesson preparation, inventory and organize tools and supplies, prepare the training classroom and shop, and participate in CPELL student orientation activities and meetings. 20 hours June 3-17. • Training: Deliver trades-specific courses and workshops for English language learners from Career Connections and other CPELL-specific curriculum. This includes team-teaching with an ESL instructor, construction theory and hands-on projects, and OSHA 10 safety training. The trainer will provide Qualification orientations that comply with OSHA standards, in PITO (Power Industrial Truck Operations), and MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) operation. 50 days over 11 weeks (average 25.5 training hours/week). 255 hours June 18-August 29. • Set up and Clean up: Trades-specific course set up and clean up; 1.5 hours per class/training day. 75 hours June 18-August 29 Page 2 of 3 • Collaboration and Curriculum Development: Weekly planning and collaboration meetings with CPELL instructors and staff.
