Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.8 All dimensions are actual and are to face of metal studs, Face of concrete walls or centerline of columns, U.N.O. 5.9 Removal of materials shall be accomplished with tools intended for that work which leaves a clean line against which patch materials can be installed. Remove brick and Concrete materials back to nearest joint in lieu of saw Cutting wherever possible or as directed by the architect. 5.10 All piping and conduits shall be concealed within walls, underground, above ceilings or in architect approved utility spaces in all cases unless specifically noted otherwise on the drawings. Exposed items shall have minimal visual impact. All exposed items are to be painted to match the adjacent surface unless scheduled for an accent color. 5.11 Plumbing and electrical plans are developed schematically to show piping and wireway locations. Upon field verification, the location of these items may be adjusted conditional upon satisfactory compliance to all other requirements, to minimize saw cutting, patching or removal and replacement of improvements. Paint all exposed piping and associated hangers, etc.to match Adjacent wall unless scheduled for an accent color. 5.12 Contractor shall be required to move all furniture, electronics, other loose items in the rooms to obtain access to their work. Cover all items to protect from dust and damage. Replace all responsible for any damage. Replace all items upon completion of the work. Contractor will be held responsible for any damage that occurs to the furniture, electronics and other loose items during construction. 5.13 No asbestos or PCB containing materials shall be used on this project.
