Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide clinical health care service which allows the client to choose from a broad range of contraceptive options, including oral, injectable, and implanted contraceptives, intrauterine devices (IUD), barrier contraceptive methods, emergency contraception, sterilization, fertility awareness methods and abstinence. Provide counseling and education for each individual client in order to assure that well informed decisions are made about family planning and reproductive health care. ● Specifically, counseling will include, where indicated: a) Fertility regulation – reversible contraception, emergency contraception b) Sterilization – via referral to a provider who will provide services based on the same financial eligibility criteria used for other services provided through this contract c) Basic infertility counseling and referral d) Preconception health assessment, education and counseling including management or referral to care for identified health conditions...
