Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pavement Scope • Utilize call before you dig to verify locations of underground utilities. • Coordinate traffic patterns, schedule and detour signage with DMHAS staff. • Always maintain emergency access. • Provide and install necessary detour signage. • Remove existing bituminous concrete pavement down to existing granular base (using Earth Excavation) • Existing bituminous concrete to be reclaimed and pulverized to be reused in blended and processed aggregate base or recycled appropriately. • Remove 6” of existing granular base (using Earth Excavation) • Regrade/recompact granular base layer (using Formation of Subgrade) • Reclaimed material may be used if item 0212010.12A is followed (document attached) • Raise or lower any curb boxes or structures to maintain uniform elevation. • Place new pavement structure consisting of: o 1.5” HMA S0.375 Traffic Level 1, on o 2.5” HMA S0.5 Traffic Level 1, on o 6” Processed Aggregate Base o Provide asphalt thickened edge along outer edge of paving. o Install 2290 feet of concrete curbing along Harvey Drive, fill between curb and sidewalk with new topsoil and seed with perennial grass seed. o Replace catch basins- 1 flat, 2 curb cut. • Provide per square foot pricing for additional paving and preparation. • Provide linear foot cost for additional concrete curbing.
