Specifications include, but are not limited to: o We will be packing into the Oweep drainage on the south slope of the Uinta Mountains o Two trailheads are available; outfitter may use either trailhead to pack gear into project location. However, outfitter will need to pick up UDWR staff from the EF Blacks Fork trailhead. § Travel via the East Fork Blacks Fork trailhead is approximately 12 miles into basecamp and requires coming over Squaw Pass § Travel via the Moon Lake trailhead is approximately 20 miles into basecamp · Duration o There will be a minimum of two separate trips necessary § First trip will primarily involve outfitter staff to transport outfitter’s camp supplies as listed below DWR equipment into basecamp/treatment area prior to the treatment § A subsequent trip is needed to pack in personnel and personal gear. Outfitter equipment and DWR equipment listed below may be packed out on departure leg of second trip or as part of a third trip if the outfitter deems it necessary. o Initial supply transport trip(s) § 2024: Sometime during weeks of July 15th or 22nd (up to outfitter discretion) likely one day in and one day out o Subsequent personnel transport trip § 2024: July 28 to August 1 · July 28 will be travel in and August 1 will be travel out · July 29 to July 31 will be treatment days · Packing needs o First trip: Cache treatment gear (minimum one trip during weeks of July 15th or July 22nd) o Gear includes: § 30 gallons of liquid rotenone divided into small containers · Containers include plastic bottles varying between Gatorade bottle size up to one gallon capacity (approximately one trash bag full) · Four 2.5 gallon plastic containers of rotenone will also need to be hauled § 12 -seven gallon blue water jugs; already on site, dimensions approximately 14”X14”X 24” these will be required to be hauled out after the treatment § 1 Fishcat pontoon already on site, (tubes deflated and frame disassembled as much as possible); product can be viewed here: https://www.outcastboats.com/product/fish-cat-panther-green/ this will be required to be hauled out after the treatment § Manual (double action) air pump will be required to be hauled in and out after the treatment.
