The contractor will be available to Maury County on an “on call” basis. Maury County will notify the contractor when waste tires require removal. B. The contractor will provide waste tire pickup upon the County’s request within two (2) working days of notice. C. The contractor shall provide two (2) 53’ (Ft) open top trailers with a driver side dolly to load out and transport all sizes of waste tires (some possibly with rims) to a documented end use market. Loading will be a “drop and haul” method performed by county personnel and equipment. All loading will adhere to US DOT specifications (no trailers loaded over width, height, or weight). D. The contractor shall be compensated for any waste tire removed from the County’s waste tire site only after said waste tires are delivered to an end-use location and proper documentation is returned to Maury County for payment. No invoice shall be honored that does not have a fully completed original form of this documentation attached. Submitted forms must be completed in ink with no erasures or corrections. E. The contractor shall not accept any other forms of solid waste mixed in with waste tires. F. The contractor is required to obtain or possess all necessary permits and/or licenses that may be required by State or Federal law and regulations and to provide proof of same prior to contract signing. Contractor will provide Maury County an up to date *Certification of Scales and *Approved Beneficial End User. The contractor shall comply with any/all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations. G. The contractor shall have access to backup equipment in numbers adequate to perform the requirements of this contract should primary equipment fail.
