Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a local project sponsored by the Town of Thatcher. The project scope includes bike lanes, ADA sidewalks, and roadway widening to accommodate one travel lane in each direction and a center turn lane along 1st Ave, between Quail Ridge Dr and Eagle Dr, a distance of approximately 1.26 miles. The project also includes a new canal crossing for pedestrians and a new widened at-grade crossing of the Arizona Eastern Railroad. Design will also include storm drain, irrigation, electric and other utilities, as required. The scope of this project consists of developing final design documents for approximately 1.26 miles of bike lane, sidewalk, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, roadway widening, pedestrian crossings and drainage improvements. Design criteria shall be consistent with Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) standards and the latest version of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This project is federally-funded.
