For example, but not limited to, public speakers. • must provide minimal network delay (less than 1 frame) to preserve lip-sync. • must provide an interface for simple control of meeting initialization and microphone management to interpretation channels, audio routing and camera control. • must provide interfacing with 3rd party equipment that will allow for multiple audio out ports to feed at least 1) the speakers in the Council Chambers and 2) another audio output to an Allen and Heath XONE:22 mixer for streaming service. • must provide a single conference network to transport audio, video, and data. • must support hot swap functionality after replacement of a defective unit, the new unit will automatically be configured with the settings of the old one. • must have a built-in power supply of 400 W with a quiet temperature-controlled fan to ensure low noise. • must provide external ‘power out’ connector to drive equipment that needs separate power. • must support an integrated dynamics processor with programmable threshold, ratio, attack, and release of noise gate, AGC and limiter functions. • must support Dante™ multi-channel networked audio (maximum 64 channels). • must provide and store audio recording of the meetings for archiving and assisting with the writing of the meeting minutes. • must support individual microphone sensitivity and equalizer adjustments. • must provide scalable software architecture of the interactive, paperless conference functionalities like document sharing, agenda, delegate list for potential future expansion needs of City Council.
