Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District seeks a Design-Build Professional with the engineering and construction ability to design, install and execute the projects outlined in the most cost-effective, efficient and timely manner. Design shall be in accordance with all current Codes, as well as the District’s Architectural Design Guide. The District also seeks a firm that has recent experience with the S.C. State Department of Education, Office of School Facilities (OSF) submission & approval process and will be expected to handle those responsibilities for the life of each project in obtaining OSF approval to advertise through obtaining final CO for each project. The repairs/replacements and new construction should be in harmony with the existing school design and be one that can be provided at a reasonable cost. The District seeks a design-build proposal from Design-Build Professional proposers to complete the following tasks over a planned three year period. The work shall be phased as determined by the Contractor, District Administration and School Board based upon budgetary considerations, market conditions and other items that may arise.
