Specifications include, but are not limited to: HVAC System Replacement under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Selective Demolition: a. Removal of existing packaged units and condensing units, and air handlers as shown on mechanical plans. b. Removal of existing refrigerant piping at locations shown on mechanical plans. c. Removal of existing branch ducts and air terminals at locations indicated on mechanical plans. d. Removal of thermostats at locations indicated on mechanical plans. e. Removal of existing electrical receptacle at new HVAC return location. f. Disconnecting of existing HVAC units from existing electrical systems. 2. New Construction: a. Installation of new, Owner-Furnished HVAC package units, condensing units, and air handlers and connect to existing gas service, refrigerant piping, and ductwork as shown on mechanical plans. b. Installation of new refrigerant piping at selected locations indicated on mechanical plans. c. Installation of new branch ductwork and air terminals at locations indicated on mechanical plans. d. Installation of new thermostats as shown on mechanical plans. e. Installation of new power roof ventilators at existing shingle roofing as shown on mechanical plans. f. Connection of new HVAC units to existing electrical systems and installation of new electrical circuits as shown on Electrical Plans. g. Construction of new chase and counter top extension at new HVAC return location.
