Specifications include, but are not limited to: The facility will be built with structural steel and will have areas reaching 2 stories. A security system, weapons vault, climate-controlled preservation areas, and gift shop will be built along with a small theater, conference areas and administrative office areas. Sitework will include static display pads and reworking the parking areas to facilitate bus traffic. Design to meet LEED Silver standards. Increase the 16,500 SF current footprint to 20,000 SF, if feasible. The building must meet ADA standards; meet all federal and local codes. Exterior design elements will consist of a decorative main entrance sign, flag poles, concrete display pads for military equipment and reconfiguring the existing parking lot to meet new demands. The NCNG will provide, master planning documents, and other related program documents that detail potential future force structure and work activities on the complex for the Designer to Develop and Evaluate Alternatives.
