Specifications include, but are not limited to: Asbestos Abatement The successful contractor shall remove all asbestos items described in the ESP Associates, Inc. Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint Inspection Reports (attached Attachments B & C) with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) requirements, including a manifest showing items disposed of in a SCDHEC-approved landfill. ESP Associates, Inc. will be responsible for the required onsite air monitoring, and it will be the responsibility of the selected contractor to coordinate their work schedule and project design with ESP. Demolition A. Demolition and clearance of structure to include footings B. Clearance of any debris in or on the property (trash, tires, etc.) and proper disposal C. Clearance of any scrub brush and shrubs on the property (healthy trees can remain) D. Remove all private sidewalks and driveways. E. Lot must be left in a way it can be cut and maintained. F. Contractor shall supply any necessary dirt for fill and grading. G. There are no known underground storage tanks on the property. If any tanks are found during the process of demolition, they will be addressed through change orders. H. Landfill tickets should be turned in after the disposal of all demolition debris. I. City staff will seed and straw the lot following demolition. J. The contractor will be responsible for having all utility and gas disconnected and capping these.
