Specifications include, but are not limited to: Professional engineering, planning, and design firms are invited to submit a proposal to carry out the following tasks in fulfillment of the project. Task 1: Project Initiation a. Prepare a draft project schedule including major milestones as reflected in this scope of work, such as stakeholder group meetings, public engagement plan, draft reviews, and final report submission. b. Organize a kick-off meeting within two weeks of the Notice to Proceed. Task 2: Stakeholder and Public Engagement a. A Project Advisory Committee will guide the planning effort and review the consultants’ work products. The TAC will meet in-person or a virtual setting at the discretion of the City. Participants at a minimum will include the Office of Resilience and Sustainability, Department of Public Works, Department of Health, New Orleans Police Department, New Orleans Emergency Medical Services, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development District 02 (DOTD-02), University Medical Center Trauma Center, and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The Consultant will support TAC meetings by preparing agendas, presentations, handouts, and meeting summaries.
