The Contractor is required to furnish, install, and repair all components of the high tension cable barrier systems until the contract completion date. The quantities are estimated for a one-year contract period. Actual quantities will depend on the damage sustained through the time of the end of the contract. The scope of work for this project is to provide three and four-strand cable barrier repair, replacement, and re-tensioning due to vehicle damage and similar sudden occurrence, such as physical damage by the elements, but not solely as a result of wear and tear or changes in standards not in connection with a sudden occurrence, or as directed by the Engineer. The work will be performed along maintained roadways within the District designated by this contract.
