Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The device must include all items, accessories, and materials to make the locator a complete and serviceable unit whether stated in the specifications or not. 2. The device must be new and unused 3. Minimum two year warranty term 4. Receiver a. Li-ion battery and charger. Battery holder with a minimum capacity of six AA alkaline batteries. b. High visibility backlit LCD display screen that is a minimum of four inches wide. c. 4G LTE capabilities d. Integrated SIM card included e. Minimum Two year data plan from the date the device is accepted by the city at no additional cost to the city. f. Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) tracking capability g. Multiple fault modes programed by user to include shallow depth and overhead power lines. h. Must have a vector capability for use when direct access to a utility is unavailable i. Field data shall be sent to the cloud with a real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning and retained in onboard storage of the unit. j. The device must have a minimum data storage capacity of 45,000,000 data records. All data stored and maintained as part of the devices functionality must be continuously available to the City of Topeka and compatible with Esri GIS software, location intelligence, and mapping, which is the system used by the City. k. USB port for performing software updates l. Not to exceed 12 pounds in total weight m. Must have a soft carrying case included. Include an option to purchase a hard case. (Receiver hard case will be alternate bid item No.1). 5. Transmitter a. Transmitter must be compatible with receiver and be manufactured by the same company b. Transmitter shall have a 5-watt Li-ion rechargeable battery c. Must have ability to use standard D cell alkaline batteries d. Include AC and DC external power source for recharging e. Must have multiple transmit mode f. Must have direct hook up and transmitter clamp (transmitter clamp must fit around a minimum 3-inch conduit) g. High visibility backlit LCD display screen a minimum of four inches wide h. Not to exceed eight pounds in total weight i. Must have a soft carrying case included. Include an option to purchase a hard carrying case that all items will fit into. (Transmitter hard case will be an alternate bid item No. 2) j. Compatible SIM card must be included k. Any required data plan for locator data must be included at no additional cost to the City for a minimum of two years from date of acceptance by the City
