The West Virginia Parkways Authority (WVPA) is seeking proposals from qualified operators for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at three key travel plazas along the West Virginia Turnpike: • Bluestone Travel Plaza (MP 18 Northbound, Mercer County) • Beckley Travel Plaza (MP 45 Northbound & Southbound, Raleigh County) • Morton Travel Plaza (MP 72 Northbound, Kanawha County) This project aims to: • Enhance the accessibility and convenience of EV travel within West Virginia by expanding charging infrastructure at strategic locations. • Promote sustainable transportation options and contribute to the state's environmental goals. • Improve the overall experience for travelers at the Bluestone and Beckley Travel Plazas by offering modern amenities.
