Specifications include, but are not limited to: The awarded contractor must remove the existing non-working 100KW Natural Gas Emergency Generator which is located on the roof of the Life Sciences Building and install a pre-purchased new 125 KW, 480/277V Natural Gas Emergency Generator. The project includes structural work, new gas line and electrical equipment associated for a complete functional emergency power source to the building. The awarded contractor is responsible for routing the new natural gas pipe from the outlet of the dedicated new gas meter provided by LG&E to the emergency generator on the roof. The contractor is responsible for removing portions of the existing natural gas piping as identified on the floor plans. Any concrete work outside of the building shall be appropriate pounds per square inch (PSI) and finish shall be historic mix.
