Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation (RWS) is located at 6135 Roosevelt Hwy in Warm Springs, Georgia. The institution has approximately 443 acres and over 50 facilities, which includes cottages, vocational educational training, therapeutic recreation with many amenities, student service halls, and specialty hospitals. The rehabilitation facility was created by Franklin D. Roosevelt to help polio patients heal with the benefits of the springs with its mineral enrichment and natural element. The primary focus of RWS is on vocational rehabilitation through acute inpatient rehabilitation and long- term acute care. Not only does the institute help empower individuals by teaching a way of independence, but also the rehabilitation offers continuing education and advocacy for people with disabilities. Bradley Cottage was built around 1890 that has been converted into office space, this building is Queen Anne Cottage and has an overall rectangular shape, with a round turret on the right-side front, corner, two projecting side wings, and several small rear projections.
