1. Furnish and install three (3) inline twenty-four (24) inch electromagnetic flow meter systems as described in these specifications and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations for all locations. Include any spool pieces or gaskets necessary to mount the new flow meter(s) and new flange gasket kits with new hardware. a. Two (2) meters will be installed at the Stillwater Water Treatment Plant, 1022 W Yost Road, Stillwater, OK. b. One (1) meter will be installed at the Kaw Lake Pump Station, 9430 E. South Ave, Ponca City, OK. 2. Provide all necessary equipment and labor to remove three existing 24” mag meters, including but not limited to safety equipment, A-frame hoist and/or crane, etc. 3. SUA equipment and personnel are not available to assist with removal and installation. 4. Coordinate with plant staff prior to removing any of the three existing mag meters. 5. No valves are to be operated by the contractor without prior approval of water treatment plant staff. 6. The SUA will work with the Contractor to determine the optimal time of year to complete the work. Each meter installation shall have a specific shut-down time, dependent upon time of year and plant demands. Shut down times will be between 4 and 6 hours maximum. 7. All three meters shall be delivered to the water plant/contractors’ shop prior to the start of any removal or installation work.
