Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Strategic Project Re-Scoping Support and Coordination 1. Continuation of Capacity and Safety Evaluation (CASE) Update The CONSULTANT will assist GDOT on the CASE update and Freight CASE update by identifying congestion trends/segments, safety trends/segments using the updated GSTDM model and the latest crash data. The CONSULTANT will provide statistical summary on projects and deficient segments by districts, congressional districts, and other requests by GDOT planning team to help verify priorities and identify future scoping needs. 2. Identification of projects for rescoping based on priorities. The CONSULTANT will support GDOT to identify projects for re-scoping activities based on priorities vetted through GDOT’s project prioritization process and benefit cost ratio. 3. Coordination with other GDOT offices The CONSULTANT will coordinate with the GDOT project manager/lead and/or other subject matter expert (SME) at GDOT offices for various information/data needs as necessary. 4. Develop Information-Sharing Opportunities The CONSULTANT shall develop and facilitate information-sharing opportunities to GDOT planners on best practices. 5. Quality Assurance/Quality Control B. Resilience Tool Application under GSTDM The CONSULTANT will be expected to employ resilient technologies and strategies in the GSTDM development in accordance with GDOT’s goals and objectives. This will mainly require utilizing the Resilience Tool developed in partnership with Georgia Tech, but the CONSULTANT should be prepared to assist with conducting or analyzing network vulnerability assessments, network criticality assessments and other resilience related applications and/or other related frameworks.
