The spraying of fence lines, building perimeters and retention ponds around all school facilities. a. All grass, weeds, etc. are to be sprayed along fence lines, building perimeters and retention ponds. This shall include the spraying of an approved soil residual herbicide. Under no circumstance is the Vendor permitted to apply any pesticide, herbicide or chemical product of any nature without first being licensed by the appropriate regulatory agency and receiving specific permission from the facility maintenance director. b. Vendor must provide all equipment, supplies, labor and supervision necessary to complete applications. c. Vendor shall follow all West Virginia Department of Agriculture guidelines especially specific to the application of herbicide or chemical in and around school facilities. d. The owner will inspect service areas after (7) days to verify spraying has occurred. If there is no evidence that spraying has been completed, the Vendor must be responsible for spraying again with no extra cost to owner. e. Vendors are to exercise extreme caution and safety in operating equipment on school property. f. All herbicide treatments will be conducted when children are not present in the schools or on school property. g. All herbicide treatments will be conducted July 1st through July 31st
