The Consultant shall perform, at a minimum, the following services: A. Work with our seven ATSI-designated schools, Polo Road Elementary, Joseph Keels Elementary, Dent Middle School, E L Wright Middle School, Richland Northeast High School, Ridgeview High School, Spring Valley High School and four (4) additional schools identified as needing to incorporate and implement Co-Teaching/Inclusionary practices for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. B. Co-Teaching/Inclusionary practices are focused on: • Creating a common vision and vocabulary across all schools that supports clear communication across all levels and stakeholders • Focuses decision-making as student-centered • Strong Tier One/ research-based strategies C. Work with each School Inclusion Team to determine inclusionary services for students served with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Help School Inclusion Teams with creating and finalizing a SPED Inclusion Schedule that the entire school schedule will be centered around. Teach and hold Professional Development with schools to demonstrate best practices for the Co-Teaching Models to encourage the most effective collaborative teaching. Evaluate the effectiveness of inclusionary practices at each school and suggest recommendations for the following school year. D. Coach co-teachers (all levels) in roles and responsibilities, teaching approaches, embedding instructional strategies, grouping of students, classroom management, and collaborative planning time. E. Determine the effectiveness of a collaborative program. F. Provide follow-up meetings concluding professional development. G. Provide feedback to administration regarding the co-teaching classrooms/program and establish teacher expectations within collaborative classes.
