The Hawaii State Judiciary (Judiciary) is seeking solicitations to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for PeopleSoft Version 9.2 production support. The Human Resources (HR) Department of the Judiciary has primary responsibility for the management and content of the PeopleSoft software system. The Information Technology & Services Department (ITSD) is the central Department responsible for servicing the information technology needs of the Judiciary, and thus plays a key supporting role in the PeopleSoft software system. The Judiciary has courts/offices on the islands of Hawaii, Maui, Lanai, Molokai, Oahu, and Kauai with multiple courts and offices on the majority of them. The islands are linked by the Judiciary WAN that primarily runs off the State Executive Branch’s Next Generation Network (NGN). Major court facilities/sites on most of the neighbor islands are linked to the central site on Oahu by 1 GB/second communication lines. Several of the smaller sites across the state are linked to the central site by MPLS T-1 speed links. The central site is located within the civic center of Oahu that, in turn, is connected to the state NGN via 1 GB/second fiber optic lines. All internet access for Judiciary sites is made via this NGN connection.
