Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Supplier will be responsible for “steam cleaning” specified carpet areas using the “Hot Water Extraction” method. • Supplier must be able to respond to service calls in at least 2 hours’ time. Service calls will only be made, as needed, by representatives of LSU Athletic Facilities. • Supplier’s cleaning equipment for the steam cleaning shall be van/truck-mounted. • Supplier must have at least 2 vans/trucks with cleaning capability. • Supplier must also have portable units. The portable units are only allowed to be used by supplier at the request of the Athletic Department for specific jobs. (Supplier must have a minimum of 3 portable units as well as 3 dehumidifiers for proper water leak clean up and drying.) • The University reserves the right to request documentation (such as pictures, equipment list with makes/models, etc.) from supplier to confirm that supplier has the required equipment needed for this contract. • Area serviced must be dry within 3 hours of cleaning completion. • No sub-contractors are allowed without prior written approval from LSU Athletic Facilities. • Below is a breakdown of the approximate surface areas to be cleaned in each facility.
