Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a combined major maintenance project for outlet control structures and principal spillways at 3 Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Dams and 1 other high hazard dam: Yellow River Watershed Dam Y-16, Yellow River Watershed Dam Y-3, Lake Inverness Dam and Mulberry Creek Watershed Dam M-7. As a project, it entails in-kind replacements or repairs to extend the service life of multiple dam features. Improvements of low-level drain gates, reservoir-level maintenance gates, localized concrete repairs, and lining of spillway pipes are some of the maintenance efforts to take place. Safety improvements for operating personnel and the public (i.e., standing platform additions, railings, and access ladders, caution signage, painting) are also coupled to the project. The scope for M7 Dam is included as an alternate portion of the project. Inclusion of the M7 Dam scope is contingent on outside factors and the decision regarding inclusion of this scope will be decided near to or after final award of the contract.
