Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFQ is to purchase a new Haas CNC Vertical Machining Center for Education, with 16" x 14" x 15" (406 x 356 x 381 mm) travels for the university’s Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering and Technology department. At a minimum, the machining center must have full compliant enclosure, color graphical interface, conversational operating system, 1GB onboard program memory, 10HP 6000-rpm 40 Taper spindle, CT-style tool changer grippers, 10-pocket carousel tool changer, 20 pc CT40 Toolholder Kit, Installation/warranty/instruction on install. Also, the machining center must have internal low voltage transformer for 195-260V operation, Ethernet interface, control touch screen, Wi-Fi connection for Haas control, built-in toolholder rack, and work light.
