Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Service Areas for which one or more grants will be awarded as a result of this RFP include: Service Area 1: Statewide coordination and support of services delivered by the Child Care Aware of Minnesota system services related to Parent Aware, Minnesota’s Quality Rating and Improvement System; the professional development and training delivery system; grants for child care programs; capacity building efforts, and support for startup or expansion of new child care programs; and activities to support Child Care Aware system grantees including diversity, equity & inclusion; feedback, marketing and communications about the services; and analysis of data for continuous improvement. Service Area 2: Support individual working in child care and early childhood education programs with financial supports to access training, professional development, and post-secondary education, including T.E.A.C.H., R.E.E.T.A.I.N, Empower to Educate, CDA reimbursement grants and grants for foreign transcript evaluation. Service Area 3. Data management, database support and website maintenance for consumer education for parents, providers, and the general public, and to help families find quality, affordable child care. Service Area 4. Operate and manage an accessible online training delivery system delivering the DHS owned courses for early childhood , school-age care, and tribal child care programs, includes creating online course content.
