Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ongoing review and assessment of effectiveness of overall compensation philosophy, pay program, design and management of recommendations Provide recommendations for a time based and/or performance-based pay structure with a mechanism for employees to progress through pay range/bands Conduct an evaluation of current job codes, job titles, and non-exempt job specifications and offer recommendations to create a more cohesive methodology that can be accessed and implemented among all participating institutions within the USM Assess external market competitiveness of compensation in conjunction with benefit programs versus industry peer groups and broader general industry competitors Conduct ongoing evaluation of appropriate peer group(s) for pay and performance Evaluate market data where USM and associated institutions compete for market share and talent Provide guidance on market trends, regulatory/legislative changes, and corporate governance trends (to include guidance as it relates to collective bargaining agreements/Unions) Assist and/or manage ad hoc projects and analyses as needed Participate in-person (preferred) or via virtual attendance at regular and special Compensation Committee meetings Participate in-person or via virtual meetings with the Compensation Committee Chair prior to each meeting
