Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a Tunabale Resistive Pulse Sensor (TRPS) from Izon Science LLC. as a sole source based on the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and/or services. TRPS yields accurate particle size distributions that can not only be used to optimize liposome development, but these size distributions serve as a reliable input for a solid state nuclear magnetic resonance-based method. TRPS meets the minimum needs for Oregon State University by using medium-throughput (30 min/sample), counts individual particles resistively (electrical detection), and is capable of measuring zeta-potential and size simultaneously.
