Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Demolition i. Removal of automatic transfer switches and related elements as indicated on Engineering design drawings. ii. Removal/Relocation of piping, conduits, etc. as required to facilitate new construction. iii. Maintain piping and conduits where removal is not strictly required. iv. Where removal of piping and/or conduits is required provide temporary shut off of related services. v. Coordinate shut off of services with Owner's representative. vi. Provide minimum ten (10) days’ notice prior to service shutdown. vii. Temporary removal and relocation of lighting and heating where affected by the work. viii. See Engineering drawings for related information. b. Construction i. Patch concrete floor where affected by demolition. ii. Patch existing walls and ceilings to remain where affected by demolition. 1. Match existing construction type and ratings. 2. Field verify. iii. Provide new walls/doors at locations indicated on Architectural design drawings. iv. Re-installation of piping, conduits, etc. v. Provide insulation and/or firestopping as required at piping and conduit penetrations through rated wall(s). vi. Installation of new ATS’s and related elements as indicated on Engineering design drawings. vii. Replace components as specified to modernize the existing paralleling gear. viii. Installation of relocated/new lighting and heating.
