Specifications include, but are not limited to: Interior Wet Area Coating System: 1. Surface Prep: Entire Surface shall be abrasive blasted in accordance with SSPC-SP10 Near White Metal Blasting standard. 2. Prime Coat: A full coat of Tnemec Series 91-H20 Hydro-Zinc shall be applied at 2.5-3.5 mils DFT. 3. Stripe Coat: A stripe coat of Tnemec Series N140F PotaPox Plus shall be applied at 3-6 mils dft to all weld seams, corners and edges. 4. Finish Coat: A full coat of Tnemec Series 21 Epoxoline shall be applied at 10-16 mils dft. Interior Dry Area Coating System (Dry access Tube and Bottom of Bowl): 1. Surface Prep: High pressure water blast with minimum 3000 psi at the tip at a rate of 3-5 gallons/minute, utilizing an orbital tip to remove all contaminants. 2. Prime Coat: A full coat of Tnemec Series N140F PotaPox Plus (beige) shall be applied at 3-6 mils dft. 3. Finish Coat: A full coat of Tnemec Series N140F PotaPox Plus (white) shall be applied at 3-6 mils dft. Exterior Coating System: 1. Surface Prep: High pressure water blast with minimum 3000 psi at the tip at a rate of 3-5 gallons/minute, utilizing an orbital tip to remove all contaminants. Lifted existing coatings, rusted or bare steel shall be prepared in accordance with SSPC-SP3 Power Tool Cleaning. 2. Spot Prime: Prepared areas shall receive Tnemec Series 27 Typoxy Primer applied at 4-6 mils dft. 3. Intermediate Coat: A full coat of Tnemec Series 27 Typoxy Primer shall be applied at 4-6 mils dft. 4. Finish Coat: A full coat of Tnemec Series 1095 Endurathane shall be applied at 2-5 mils dft. Color at side of bowl and roof to be Tank White 15BL. Color at bottom of bowl, column and base-cone to be determined. 5. Lettering: Tnemec Series 1095 shall be applied to the lettering. Lettering shall be replaced "as-is". Color shall be same as lower tank color. Tank Upgrades and Repairs: 1. Freeze Proof Drain Valve: A 3" coupler shall be installed at the bottom of the tank bowl. A 3" "Bab" style drain valve shall be installed at the coupler and shall be attached to the overflow pipe with a flexible hose, nipple, and coupler. 2. Overflow Screen: A new non-corrodible screen shall be installed at the base of the overflow pipe. 3. Interior Wet Ladder: The top 10' of the of the existing ladder shall be removed and a new 10' section of ladder shall be installed prior to coating of interior wet surfaces.
