Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Since Advanced Graphix is the only graphics vendor authorized to produce MSP’s squad car graphics as a subcontractor under the V-30(5) contract release, Advanced Graphix must be retained as a sole source vendor to ensure that all of MSP’s squad car graphics procured as a part of this mandatory update will remain consistent in color, design, and material to the graphics applied to all future squad car builds, thereby obtaining best value for the State for the costly update to these assets required by statute promulgated during the 2023 legislative session. In order for a vendor to become an authorized provider of Minnesota State Patrol squad car graphics, they must comply with the requirements and specifications set forth under the terms of the contract with Emergency Automotive Technologies corresponding to the V-30(5) contract release. Additionally, Advanced Graphix retains the right to all of the digital artwork, design files, and vector images used to produce the current contractually approved version of the Minnesota State Patrol squad car graphics package on the V-30(5) contract release. Further solicitation and disruption to the existing squad car graphic process will unnecessarily delay MSP’s procurement of squad car emblems which will in turn result in an inability to comply with the statutory requirements of Minn. Stat. § 1.135, subd. 6.
