Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Acceptable Generator Brands will be Bluestar and Winco (or equivalent), Acceptable Transfer Switch Brands will be Asco or ABB (or equivalent). See attached Blue Star specifications. • The generator will be a diesel unit with a John Deer Engine (or equivalent) and 72-hour base fuel tank (or equivalent). • Enclosure will be level 1 aluminum and tank painted with rust preventative marine paint. Unit will have a 5-year warranty, • The contractor is responsible for the new concrete pad to be poured and the new generator set onto pad. Pad to be built according to attached engineers drawing. • New Ats will be installed along with a new disconnect or service entrance rated transfer switch. • Remote monitoring will need to be reinstalled and commissioned. • The installation will be turn-key and installation by Generator vender. • No sublet contractors will be allowed onsite for installation. • Existing wiring can be reused, if tested and insulation values verified to be in good condition. • Old Generator will be disposed of by the contractor. • Fuel will be pumped out, polished, and reused from the existing fuel tank and stored off site until new generator is installed. A vender is to verify the amount of fuel removed before and after polishing and sent to Project Manager. • The contractor is responsible for an old concrete pad demo and removal from site that day. No debris or dumpster is to remain on site. A concrete washout station to be used during pouring of the new pad. No concrete is to be washed out on the landscaping, driveway, or storm drain. Contractor responsible for disposal of washout debris. The contractor is responsible for fuel/oil spills during removal and installation of generator.
