Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide equipment repair and maintenance of John Deere equipment for the Missouri National Guard (hereinafter referred to as Department), in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein. 2.1.2 All repair and maintenance will be on an as needed/if needed basis. The point of contact (POC) for the Department will initiate contact to request services. Service request may include equipment pickup and/or delivery from a specific location, as well as obtaining a quote for repair. 2.1.3 Replacement parts while equipment is still under warranty are to be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. Aftermarket parts are allowable when equipment is no longer under warranty and the Department has approved the replacement parts. 2.1.4 Due to a variety of end dates on warranted equipment, all services are to be performed by a certified John Deere technician. 2.1.5 Contractor may bid on coverage area by county. It is anticipated this may be a multi-vendor award. 2.1.6 The contractor shall perform all services to the sole satisfaction of the Department. 2.2 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: 2.2.1 The contractor shall retain a certified John Deere technician to provide all performed services. The contractor shall submit a copy of the certification to the Department upon award of the contract and/if requested. 2.2.2 The contractor shall use only OEM parts when equipment is still under warranty. The contractor will receive prior approval to use aftermarket parts, when applicable. 2.2.3 The contractor shall provide a quote for the needed services within seven (7) business days of receipt of the equipment. 2.2.4 The contractor and the Department shall mutually agree upon the turnaround time on all equipment repairs. 2.2.5 The contractor may be asked to pickup/deliver equipment. The contractor will provide a separate quote for the pickup and delivery. The quote shall be based upon mileage listed on the pricing page returned by the contractor. 2.2.6 Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall furnish all material, labor, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services required herein.
