The Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of Water Resources (DWR), low voltage cabling services on an as-needed basis. 1. The Prime Contractor must have an office within the State of California. 2. The Prime Contractor must have a valid C-7 California Contractor’s License. 3. The Prime Contractor must have a minimum of five years of experience in telecommunications installation. 4. The Prime Contractor must be able to install the following copper materials: POTS lines, Cat 3 through Cat 6a twisted pair, coaxial cables, low voltage solid strand wire, grounding and bonding bus bars and cables. 5. The Prime Contractor must be able to install single-mode and multi-mode fiber cable. 6. The Prime Contractor must maintain up-to-date certified testing equipment for fiber, coaxial, and copper installations. 7. The Prime Contractor must be able to generate and provide test results for all cable installations in a digital format. 8. The Prime or Subcontractor must be able to acquire products from Panduit, General Cabling, CommScope, Ortronics, Chatsworth Products, and Fluke or equivalent.
