This Request for Proposals (“RFP” or “solicitation”) is soliciting Proposals from qualified Entities to design and implement a framework to improve the delivery of services by Baltimore City Public Schools to its multilingual families, defined as families that communicate primarily in languages other than English. The school system works to ensure all families can access its services and information, regardless of language. City Schools is working to assess how various services such as enrollment, public relations, academic supports, wholeness activities, translation/interpretation, and other critical actions are shared and accessed by multilingual families. If successful, City Schools will better understand how those families are served, and have a plan that includes actions, procedures, and outcomes are needed to improve.
