Gate system to include: • V-track, rollers, guides, catchers, mounts, and cast iron 6-inch wheels. • Locking mechanism for securing gates after hours. • Vandal-proof design. 3. Incorporate local fire department access: • Utilize Knox Box or comply with local permitting requirements for emergency services. 4. Ensure gate matches existing gate: • Same height and color. 5. Heavy-duty cane bolt drop rod for added security. 6. Provide ADA compliant features. Option 2: 1. Verify, Fabricate, and Install a double-gated system compliant with City of Tucson regulations at the Amtrak station. 2. Gate system to include: • Emergency service access. • Gates to match existing gate in height and color. 3. Heavy-duty cane bolt drop rod for each gate. 4. Incorporate local fire department access: • Utilize Knox Box or comply with local permitting requirements for emergency services. 5. Provide ADA compliant features. Both Options: 1. Gates to adhere to City of Tucson commercial gate specifications. 2. Gate installation to be carried out with utmost attention to detail and quality. 3. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations. 4. Contractor to provide documentation certifying ADA compliance. 5. Contractor to provide a link to City of Tucson commercial gate specifications in the scope. 6. Complete installation within agreed-upon timeframe and budget.
