Specifications include, but are not limited to: front fence renovation. The estimated length of fence is 1,403 ft. The project has three components that must be met. First, the flow into the parking lot and Zoo guest entrance must remain unobstructed and safe. Second, the integrity of the fence line cannot be altered during construction. Third, the selected contractor must be flexible in workflow and adapt to conditions to ensure the first two components are met. For the fence on the right, asphalt will need to be cut to position the poles. The project includes, but is not limited to: • Build to specification of 10 foot cedar fence (see Attachment A) • Coat with specified sealer (Attachment B) • Removal of walk in gate (see Attachment C) and replace with fencing • Two gates to be covered with brown screening (see Attachment D) • Fencing on the right to be angled 2 feet in toward the Zoo • Building the fence in sections to ensure security at all times • Removal of chain link fence • Removal of plant debris All demolition materials are to be disposed of offsite, in properly permitted sites. Upon completion of construction, the area shall be clear of all construction debris.
