Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Rio Rancho is soliciting formal proposals for Federal Lobbying Consulting Services. The awarded consultant will help the City navigate the political system in Washington. D.C., as well as with Congressional offices. The Lobbyist will identify and advise the City on federal programs and available funding the City can apply for including, but not limited to, water/wastewater public infrastructure, roadway public infrastructure, economic development, cultural enrichment, and public safety, and assist the City with applying for the available funding. The lobbyist will monitor federal legislation and issues that may impact the City, and help the City advocate its support or objection regarding federal government matters.
