Specifications include, but are not limited to: • St. Charles County Project Manager will require approval for the overall design of the added fencing, security mesh and screening material prior to procuring material. See Exhibit B for details. • Contractor to procure and install new chain-link fence with pedestrian gate within the current courtyard to create a sallyport area. New chain-link material to match existing. o New fence to be located five feet (5’) from existing (North) back fence line. o New fence to match existing height and length of current back (north) fence; approximately one hundred forty inches (140”) height x fifty-two feet (52’) length. Height does not include the existing security wire on top. o New sallyport area to have pedestrian gate of at least thirty-six inches (36”) in width and located on the opposite side of the courtyard from existing exterior man gate. o Finishes: Fencing material to match existing fence, fence hardware be secured so it cannot be removed without tools, man gate hardware to include double latch and full length drop rod so rod cannot be removed when locked. • Contractor to procure new overhead chain link fencing, security mesh and material for installation. Contractor to install per manufacturing guidelines. o Security mesh and chain link to cover entire overhead outdoor courtyard and sallyport area. Contractor to ensure all overhead mesh and chain link can be structurally supported and mounted to fencing per manufacturing requirements. No gaps in mesh and no gaps between the building and fence permitted. o Overhead chain link and security mesh must be at a minimum clear height 3.5 feet above the top of the basketball backstop. o Security mesh to include any support cables, anchors, ties or other techniques or hardware to properly secure new screening. Chain link to match existing fencing. o Area is estimated to be three-thousand one hundred twenty (3,120) squared feet or approximately sixty by fifty-two feet (~60’x52’). Contractor to field verify. o If support cables are needed for the security mesh use a PVC coated galvanized steel 14 gage, ¾” cable.
