Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Leon County – City of Tallahassee Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency (“Agency”) invites prospective Bidders to submit bids to construct the Orange-Meridian Community Park (“Project”). The Project consists of a park situated at the southwest corner of the Orange Avenue and Meridian Street intersection. The Project will be constructed near the existing Orange Avenue Stormwater Management Facility consisting of improvements for a playground with a shade structure and exercise area including fitness equipment, an impervious trail around the stormwater pond, paved parking lot, landscaping, a restroom building, food truck parking, electric vehicle charging stations, open gathering space, and picnic pavilions. In addition, park signs are proposed at both entrances. The Scope of Work for this Project involves earthwork, pavement construction, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, signs and pavement markings, drainage improvements that includes adding an inflow pipe to existing stormwater management facilities, and utilities for the construction of the Project. The Agency is also seeking a separate bid for the installation of electric vehicle (“EV”) charging stations for the Project, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this IFB. Prospective bidders shall submit a separate bid specific to the cost for the installation of the EV charging stations as described in detail in Section 3.0 and the EV Specifications and Plans. Prospective bidders must submit bids for construction of the Orange-Meridian Community Park and the EV charging stations. The City’s Purchasing and Procurement Division will administer this solicitation on behalf of the Agency. A detailed listing of pay items and quantities to be completed for this Project is provided on the Bid Summary Sheets attached to this solicitation.
