Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Homeless encampment removal A. The Contractor shall remove six homeless encampments. The structures are made primarily of wood and debris, which include tarps, tents, fencing material, metal, plastic, plywood, and lumber. The demolition of the structures shall include the following: a. Structures used for human inhabitance b. Tie-downs c. Attached canopies d. Ramps e. Debris f. Steps g. Foundations, including any above-ground supports B. The Contractor shall be responsible for removing and disposing (hauling included) of all solid waste and debris from each site. The Contractor shall keep a log of the type (brief description, material, etc.) and quantity of solid waste removed. C. The Contractor shall be responsible for clearing vegetation to get their workers and/or equipment to remove all trash and solid waste. The associated green waste shall be left on site (on ADC property) where it will rot and decompose. No hauling of green waste required. D. Arrangements shall be made with a licensed landfill operator or recycling operator. E. All work shall be done in a manner consistent with industry standards and in compliance with all federal, state, and county laws. 2. Abandoned vehicle removal A. Contractor shall remove one abandoned vehicles from the subject area. B. Contractor shall be responsible for removing and disposing of the abandoned vehicle. C. Contractor shall prevent hazardous waste from the vehicle from spilling onto the ground and shall properly dispose of such hazardous waste. D. Arrangements shall be made with a licensed landfill operator or recycling operator. E. All work shall be done in a manner consistent with industry standards and in compliance with all federal, state, and county laws.
