Specifications include, but are not limited to: New Criminal Justice Center Cell Furnishings: Each cell will have one bed platform, one wall mounted bunk, two wall mounted shelf units (steps), one floor mounted desk and one floor mounted stool, one wall mounted double shelf. All items will be installed per the manufacturer’s installation instruction, which are included in Exhibit B. Below is a layout and rendering of a similar cell to provide an example. This is not the exact layout of the actual cell. Existing Juvenile Justice Center Cell Furnishings: Each cell is outfitted with a metal bed platform and shelf that is fastened to the concrete floor or concrete block wall. Each item will need to be removed and recycled if feasible. Please account for the recycling credit in your price. The contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of all debris, packaging and waste that is generated form this effort. County on-site dumpsters will not be permitted for any project waste. Any placement of contractor supplied roll-off dumpsters utilized for debris removal must be coordinated with and approved by the County. Any damage that results from the removal of the furniture will need to be patched by the contractor, if not covered by the new furniture. The patch must be compliant with standard security sealants or compounds used in jail environments and match existing as closely as possible.
