Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1 The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select qualified contractors for on-call standby stormwater system maintenance and rehabilitation projects. Individual project cost will be based on the submitted Unit Prices per the contractor selected. The term of contract shall be for a one (1) year period with two optional one (1) year renewals. This Agreement shall terminate absolutely and without further obligation on the part of the City on the last day of July of each succeeding and renewed year, as required by O.C.G.A. §36-60-13, as amended, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the termination provisions of this Agreement. 1.2 The projects vary in magnitude and scope. They are divided into three categories and may include typical projects as follows: • Hydrovac and CCTV Services: Cleaning accumulated debris and leaves within storm structures and pipes, vacuuming accumulated debris and leaves within ditches, hydro-excavating ditches, and CCTV internal conditions of storm pipes and structures; • Trenchless Pipe Repair: Lining of pipe with industry-accepted materials as listed in the unit price schedule; • Other Repair and Maintenance Projects: Storm structure repair and maintenance, storm structure and/or pipe installation/replacement, slope/ditch/channel stabilization or excavation, excavating, repairing, and/or maintaining ponds or other stormwater detention facilities, repair and replacement of driveways, sidewalks, curb/gutter, and asphalt pavement, demolition and tree removal, grading and final stabilization of ground cover such as grassing, mulching, shrubs/trees, etc.
