Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Spring Clean-up The Spring Clean-up includes all areas of the CAMPUS including, but not limited to the following: sidewalks, stairs, ramps, lawn areas, shrub beds, rock beds, flower beds, decorative grasses, tree rings, window wells, sidewalks, and stairwells. The Spring Clean-up duties include, but are not limited to: a) Remove all leaves, sand, debris, and other material that has accumulated during the winter; and b) Dispose of all debris off-site in a manner to promote sustainability, as agreed to by the University. 2. Planting Beds Services (Spring) The Planting Beds Services (Spring) include all areas of the CAMPUS including, but not limited to the following: flower beds, shrub beds, mulch beds, decorative grass beds, etc hereinafter “Planting Beds.” Planting Beds Services (Spring) duties include, but are not limited to: a) Prune plants in Planting Beds in an appropriate manner for the plant; b) Remove dead plants in Planting Beds; c) Edge and rake out Planting Beds prior to applying new mulch; d) Supply and install pre-emergent weed control to Planting Beds prior to mulch; e) Apply all new or similar to existing bark mulch to Planting Beds. Mulch must be approved by CCSU Agency Representative prior to mulch being applied. i) Mulch must be maintained at 2" deep; a n d ii) Mulch may be blown in, but only if it is blown in at a consistent 2" depth; f) Dispose of all debris off-site in a manner to promote sustainability, as agreed to by the University. 3. Rock Beds Spring Maintenance. Rock Beds Spring Maintenance includes all areas of CAMPUS. Rock Beds Spring Maintenance duties includes, but are not limited to: a) Rock Beds must be arranged and evened out where necessary from winter changes to maintain a neat and well-kept look; b) Rock beds must be weeded and treated with pre-emergent weed control; and c) Dispose of all debris off-site in a manner to promote sustainability, as agreed to by the University.
