Specifications include, but are not limited to: Gold Strike is requesting proposals from qualified flooring contractors to complete the work herein. Gold Strike is an approximate 700,000 square foot facility with 1,100+ hotel rooms, 1,200 electronic games, 56 table games, sportsbook, fine dining venues, and indoor theatre venue. The theatre venue is both carpeted and hard surface. Contractor will be responsible for the area of work as identified in the drawings attached as ‘Exhibit A’. Generally, the contractor is responsible for the following: 1. Removal and legal disposal of existing carpet, adhesive and wall base identified for replacement in ‘Exhibit A’, “Exhibit B’ (limits of work are approximate), and during job walk. Substrate shall be made level prior to installation of new products. a. Contractor’s proposal shall include the cost of providing dumpster(s) as needed. 2. Replace removed carpet with new Owner provided broadloom carpet, approximately 560 square yards for theater and approximately 450 square yards for the Sportsbook transition, excluding waste and attic stock. a. Owner shall provide the following: i. Shaw broadloom 36-ounce carpet with bonded pad, ii. Carpet adhesive, iii. Carpet seam sealer. 3. Reuse existing wall base. Repair any loose wall base. 4. At theater, furnish and install stair nosing, Roppe #7 Underlap Carpet Nosing; color #641 Moonrise. 5. Furnish and install any necessary transition strips. 6. Contractor shall include in its proposal the following: a. Labor. b. Adhesives for base, transitions, nosings, etc. c. Repair to wall base to match existing or as specified in ‘Exhibit A’. d. Stair tread nosings. e. Transition strips. f. Dumpster costs.
